Dr Slava Poel
MBBS, MMed, FANZCA, FFMPANZCA
Dr Slava Poel is an ANZCA qualified anaesthetist and also holds a Masters Degree in Pain Management from the University of Sydney.
Dr Poel is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) and also practices pain medicine in both public and private sectors, with special interests in neuropathic pain, spinal pain, complex pain and pain interventions.

Dr Dan Liu
Dr Daniel Liu is a specialist anaesthetist who trained at Royal Melbourne Hospital, after which he completed his fellowship at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and the Austin Hospital.
He is a Fellow of the Australia and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) and Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA).
Dr Liu currently holds public appointments at Austin Health and Eastern Health where he is passionately involved with teaching and mentoring specialist trainees.

Dr Sang-Yee Lee
MBBS, GC-CLINUS, FANZCA
Dr Sang-Yee Lee is a Melbourne-based specialist anaesthetist with over a decade of experience.
He works at several private hospitals and has special interests in pain management, regional anaesthesia, day surgery, and bariatric surgery.
Dr Lee is also involved in education and improving patient care in Anaesthesia in Australia.

Dr Charith Weeraratne
MBBS (Hons), FANZCA
Dr Weeraratne graduated from Monash University with honours in 2009.
He obtained his specialist Anaesthetist qualifications with the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in 2018, after completing his fellowship at The Austin Hospital.
Dr Weeraratne also teaches cardiac ultrasound to Anaesthetic trainees at Monash Medical Centre, where he is a VMO specialist.

Dr Harry Sivakumar
MBBS, FANZCA
Dr Harry Sivakumar is a highly experienced pain specialist and anaesthetist with over a decade of medical practice.
He has developed a strong interest in managing complex post-surgical pain, which led him to pursue subspecialty training in pain medicine.
Dr Sivakumar is committed to providing holistic and compassionate care, focusing on improving his patients’ quality of life and daily functioning through personalised treatment plans.

Dr Yoshi Uda
MBBS, FANZCA, PGDipClinUS, AdvancedPTeEXAM
Yoshi is an anaesthetist with a special interest in cardiothoracic and regional anaesthesia.
He spent two years of training at St. Vincent’s Hospital with a strong emphasis in regional anaesthesia. Subsequently, Yoshi completed fellowship in cardiac anaesthesia and anaesthesia for organ transplantation at Toronto General Hospital, Toronto, Canada before returning to St. Vincent’s in 2017.
His interests include teaching and research in ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography.
